FanPledge Fundraiser

We have had great success the past two years doing a FanPledge fundraiser.
The event is essentially a telethon where your student calls a list of relatives and friends of your choice to ask for band fee donations. We have raised over $100,000 the past two years.
Your student will earn 85% of the total amount donated in their behalf. The remaining 15% is paid to the fundraising company.
This event provides an excuse to call your random Uncle and ask for funds. If you are like me – you would not have called Uncle Ancel otherwise. You earn money you would not have received for free.

The company provides for donations to be instantly paid via a text link. They help make sure you get the funds. Obviously, the company must be paid for the service. (checks are accepted as donations).

I will send a link where you will enter your contacts. If you participated last year, your contacts from a year ago will remain for you to edit, keep, or delete. The key is having at least 10 contacts!
The telethon will happen during the evening rehearsal on July 30. Your student is the caller. Honestly, it works better when the kid asks, and it makes them part of the process of raising funds for their experience.
This fundraiser is optional – just trying to help your band finances.
